Abstract

The 1990/91 African Statistical Yearbook, the thirteenth issue, presents data arranged on a country basis for 51 RCA members States, for the year 1982 to 1991. It is published in two volumes including each two parts, with the following sub-regional arrangements. This publication which constitutes the second part of Volume 01 covers the sixteen countries in West Africa. When data presented in this Yearbook differ from the corresponding data for the-same year, given in the earlier edition. It should be taken to reflect corrections or revisions made as a result of the receipt of further information. As in the previous editions, the section A contains sub-regional summary table, which generally cover the years 1970, 1975, 1980 and the period 1985-1991.
