Report of the first meeting of the technical preparatory committee of the first regional conference of African minsters responsible for the development and utilisation of mineral resources and energy
Abstract
The first meeting of the Technical Preparatory Committee was held in Accra, Ghana from 14 to 17 November 1995. The meeting was formally opened by Hon. David Amankwah, on behalf of Hon. Edward Saliah, Acting Minister of Mines Energy of Ghana. Mr. Peter N. Mwanza, Chief, Natural Resources Division also delivered statement at the opening ceremony of the meeting on behalf of Mr. K.Y. Amoako, Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa. Hon. Nana Kodwo Esuantsi Member of the Council of State, and Guest of Honour of the meeting offered some advice to the meeting.
