This report assesses the 10-year progress of the SAMOA Pathway in the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, and South China Seas (AIS) region. It highlights the vulnerabilities of SIDS due to limited resources, economic diversification, and natural disasters, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite progress in sustainable economic growth, climate change mitigation, and social development, setbacks were noted in renewable energy adoption, gender equality, and data management. The report emphasizes the need for investment in resilience, regional integration, and technology adoption, supported by sustainable financial mechanisms. The report was developed under the leadership of Jean-Paul Adam and in collaboration with various ECA, ACS, and DESA directors and officers. Recommendations include national, regional, inter-regional, and international efforts to address gaps and enhance the implementation of the SAMOA Pathway.en
