On the matter of international and intra-African co-operation, the Declaration on the questions of current political import adopted at the twentieth session of the OAU Council of Ministers, affirms the importance of international and intra-African 0,07operation based on equity and a respect for: the principles of independence, sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of State. The efforts "being made by African States in their attempts to strengthen their economic and political independence and to adapt the framework of their co-operation.-to the requirements of development and the interests of their peoples should find full support within the context of African solidarity.
