The Doha Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries, which
covers the decade 2022–2031, was adopted on 17 March 2022 by the Fifth United
Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries. The Doha Programme of
Action is the successor to the Programme of Action for the Least Developed
Countries for the Decade 2011–2020, known as the Istanbul Programme of Action,
and reflects the desire for a sustained and inclusive recovery from and greater
resilience to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, with no one left behind.
It is a set of renewed and strengthened commitments by least developed countries and
their development partners.
