Abstract
The Daily COVID-19 Situation Report in #553 issue highlighted some key points Ethiopia reported 2,460 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 19.2% giving a total 448,728 confirmed cases as of 11 January 2022. 24 new deaths reported adding to total 7,066 deaths reported since the beginning of the outbreak with a Case Fatality Rate is 1.58% 366,584(81.7%) cases have recovered, however 1,065 confirmed cases are undergoing treatment in the treatment centers of which 422 are in severe condition In the last 24 hours, 12,827 RT-PCR and Ag-RDT tests were conducted giving a cumulative 4,211,002 RT-PCR and Ag-RDT tests conducted
