COVID-19 Situation Report: 30 Oct 2021

Abstract

Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) update 30 Oct 2021. Ethiopia reported 384 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 5.1% giving a total 364,960 confirmed cases as of 30 October 2021. 14 new deaths reported adding to total 6,451 deaths reported since the beginning of the outbreak with a Case Fatality Rate is 1.77% 339,320 (93%) cases have recovered, however 943 confirmed cases are undergoing treatment in the treatment centers of which 425 are in severe condition In the last 24 hours, 7,458 RT-PCR and Ag-RDT tests were conducted giving a cumulative 3,692,421 RT-PCR and Ag-RDT tests conducted 19,187 total active cases and 228 recovered and discharged on the same day. A total 4,749,702 vaccine doses administered, and 3,500,086 people have been fully vaccinated.
