Abstract
Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) update: 01 July 2021. Ethiopia reported 76 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours giving a total 276,250 confirmed cases as of 01 July 2021. A total of 4,325 deaths have been reported since the beginning of the outbreak with a Case Fatality Rate is 1.57%. 260,737 (94.4%) cases have recovered, however 223 confirmed cases are undergoing treatment in the treatment centers of which 142 are in severe condition. In the last 24 hours, 4,898 RT-PCR tests were conducted giving a cumulative 2,871,470 RT-PCR and Ag-RDT tests conducted. Global: 182,101,209 new cases; 3,950,876 deaths and case fatality. Africa: 5,389,867 new cases; 141,541 deaths and case fatality.
