COVID-19 Situation Report: 30 June 2021

Abstract

Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19), Update. 30 June 2021. Ethiopia reported 137 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours giving a total 276,174 confirmed cases as of 30 June 2021. A total of 4,320 deaths have been reported since the beginning of the outbreak with a Case Fatality Rate is 1.56%. 260,372 (94.3%) cases have recovered, however 226 confirmed cases are undergoing treatment in the treatment centers of which 145 are in severe condition. In the last 24 hours, 4,974 RT-PCR tests were conducted giving a cumulative 2,866,572 RT-PCR tests conducted. 11,480 total active cases and 70 recovered and discharged on the same day. Global: 181,521,067 new cases and 3,937,437 deaths and case fatality. Africa: 5,387,960 new cases and 141,322 deaths and case fatality.
