COVID-19 Situation Report: 29 June 2021

Abstract

Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) Update: 29 June 2021. Ethiopia reported 063 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours giving a total 276,037 confirmed cases as of 29 June 2021. A total of 4,320 deaths have been reported since the beginning of the outbreak with a Case Fatality Rate is 1.56%. 260,302 (94.3%) cases have recovered, however 240 confirmed cases are undergoing treatment in the treatment centers of which 150 are in severe condition. In the last 24 hours, 4,550 RT-PCR tests were conducted giving a cumulative 2,861,598 RT-PCR tests conducted. 11,413 total active cases and 685 recovered and discharged on the same day. Global: 181,521,067 New cases and 3,937,437 Deaths and case fatality. Africa: 5,386,525 new cases and 141,174 Deaths and case fatality.
