COVID-19 Situation Report: 25 June 2021

Abstract

Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19), Update, 25 June 2021. Ethiopia reported 168 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours giving a total 275,769 confirmed cases as of 25 June 2021. A total of 4,302 deaths have been reported since the beginning of the outbreak with a Case Fatality Rate is 1.56%. 258,203 (93.6%) cases have recovered, however 265 confirmed cases are undergoing treatment in the treatment centers of which 168 are in severe condition. In the last 24 hours, 5,396 RT-PCR tests were conducted giving a cumulative 2,845,263 RT-PCR tests conducted. 13,262 total active cases and 774 recovered and discharged on the same day. Global: 179,686,071 new cases and 3,899,172 deaths and case fatality. Africa: 5,328,737 new cases and 139,977 deaths and case fatality.
