Abstract
Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) Update: 22 June 2021. Ethiopia reported 73 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours giving a total 275,391 confirmed cases as of 22 June 2021. A total of 4,290 deaths have been reported since the beginning of the outbreak with a Case Fatality Rate is 1.55%. 255,962 (92.9%) cases have recovered, however 304 confirmed cases are undergoing treatment in the treatment centers of which 194 are in severe condition. In the last 24 hours, 2,766 RT-PCR tests were conducted giving a cumulative 2,830,936 RT-PCR tests conducted. 15,137 total active cases and 460 recovered and discharged on the same day. Global: 178,837,204 new cases; 3,880,450 Deaths & Case fatality. Africa: 5,235,282 new cases; 138,192 Deaths & Case fatality.
