Abstract

The Central Statistics Office (CSO), Botswana, is just emerging from a prolonged period of hiatus, during which the best part of its resources and attention had been focused on undertaking the population census in 1991, and clearing the backlog of both the unprocessed and unpublished data on trade statistics, and national accounts.
