Nigeria, as the largest nation in Africa with many young people, is well placed to develop a robust digital economy. This is in line with the growing need for digital trade in Africa. The objective of the present document is to highlight key findings from the collected information for Nigeria on measures that relate to trade restrictions affecting digital services and digital trade integration. A list of useful resources on the topic is provided in the annex. Nigeria needs to prioritize reducing the restrictions on digital trade and services. The rationale underlying the present study is that having lower barriers for digital trade and more network openness will facilitate digital trade integration.
