Abstract
The mission report is dealing with data base development activities and needs assessment in terms of Local Area Network development at IGADD and wide area network by electronic mail for Djibouti, IGADD and its member States. The mission made several recommendations concerning mainly the setting up of a 2 hubs e-mail system at IGADD for Djibouti and its member States and the wiring of IGADD secretariat into a Local Area Network lOBaseT Ethernet link with a Network Interface Card, twisted pair cable (Registered Jack - RJ-45) and concentrator hubs.
