Abstract
The main objective of CAMEF II had been to consider and make recommendations on major economic issues and challenges facing African countries,including: the strategy for accelerating the establishment of three major African financial institutions (as contained in Article 19 of the Constitutive Act of the African Union), namely, the African Central Bank (ACB), the African Investment Bank (AlB) and the African Monetary Fund (AMP).
