Abstract
The Operational Mechanism described below proposes the process whereby the Monitoring and Evaluation Programme of the African Plan of Action could be implemented. Operating within the regional and global framework of the preparations for the Beijing + 10 review meetings, the Operational Mechanism organizes the monitoring and evaluation related activities within the time frame of 2002 and 2004.
