Statement by Carlos Lopes UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of ECA at the 10th EUMETSAT user forum in Africa. This User Forum symbolizes the important role that partnerships can play to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. This is evident from the successful collaboration between ECA’s African Climate Policy Centre, the African Union Commission, the Ethiopian National Meteorology Agency and the European Organization for the Exploitation of Metrological Satellites (EUMETSAT) to organize this event.
