Résumé
Les évaluations de la mise en œuvre de la Plate-forme d’action de Dakar et du Programme d'action de Beijing, faites respectivement en 1999 et en 2004, qui ont abouti à l'adoption de plans d'action sous-régionaux et nationaux visant à réduire les inégalités entre les sexes, ont souligné la nécessité d'élaborer des stratégies pour la réduction de la pauvreté .
