Survey of economic and social conditions in North Africa, 1996-1997

Abstract

The present report is a synthesis of the macro-economic situation in the seven countries of the North African sub-region during the 1996-1997 periods. The analysis is very selective in the areas covered as it is based on the proposed new methodology for the economic and social survey in Africa by the economic commission for Africa (ECA).
