Abstract

The Conference created a dynamic process and synergy to enable women face the many challenges in their daily lives and to face the challenges of the 21st century. The conference also sought to enable women to participate more effectively and more efficiently in the decision-making process on socioeconomic development issues as well as the determination of priorities to be implemented during the period 1996 to 2001.
