Assessment of summary impact : Second mid-term evaluation of UNTACDA II, Volume VI

Abstract

Even though the second Decade has not yet ended there are still many projects under execution. This means that, the conditions for making an overall assessment of the impact of the Decade programme have not yet been met. However, considering the fact that, on the one hand, this second mid-term evaluation is being done within the Decade's seventh year and, on the other hand, that the terms of reference of this assessment deal with the preparation of a framework for action for the period 1997-2000.
