This statement is focuses on the reform of the international monetary system some aspects of interest to the developing countries. In all the discussions on the reform of the international monetary system, in the developing countries have been concentrating too much on two aspects: (a) their participation in the negotiations on the reform, and (b) the establishment of a link between liquidity creation and development financing.
