Work programme for 1964-1965

Abstract

The purpose of the course, is to give training , at postgraduate level, in the aims and methods of comprehensive planning and in problems of economic policy which are relevant for the formulation and implementation of development plans. The course is intended for persons with a university degree in economics who have had some years of practical experience in Government service. This is a specialized course, of 3 months duration, to be held in Cairo and to be conduct e d in close collaboration with the United Nations' Center for Industrial Development with the Institute of National Planning in Cairo, and with the Industry Section of the Economic Commission for Africa.
