Introductory remarks
Abstract
The Working group, which was to meet annually, has for various circumstances not been able to meet until today. However,most of the activities had been undertaken to-date by the Joint ECA/OUA/ADB Secretariat with technical backstopping from the UNFPA support teams. The Joint Secretariat has continued to have its regular consultative meetings in which issues on the progress of the implementation of the DND and the ICPD-PA have been discussed.
