Abstract
Pursuant to the decision taken by the first meeting of the council of ministers of the preferential trade area for Eastern and Southern Africa (PTA) held in Lusaka (Zambia) from 22 to 25 June 1982 the first meeting of the Customs and Trade Committee took place in Lusaka(Zambia) from 26 to 29 October 1982.
