The need for economic co-operation and integrated development is making itself increasingly felt. in the different African countries. technical advance in the modern world is resulting in big production units being formed which are geared to vast markets where economies scale become possible. In developed countries, trend frequently leads to regrouping and merging whereby enterprises join together order -o remain in existence. Increasingly, one sees the expansion of powerful groups absorbing weaker companies which owing to their small size are no longer able to compete.
