Report of the fifth conference of African ministers of industry

Abstract

Report of the Meetings of Plenipotentiaries on the African Regional Centre for Engineering Design and Manufacturing and of the Council of the Centre. The meeting of Plenipotentiaries on the African Regional Centre for Engineering design and Manufacturing was held at Cotonou, Benin, from 4 to 7 April, 1979. After some discussions, the meeting unanimously adopted the Constitution without any amendment. The meeting adopted the job description of senior professional posts as amended. The Executive Secretary urged the Plenipotentiaries to assist in identifying and transmitting the names of suitable candidates to ECA Secretariat immediately, they return to their respective home countries.
