The workshop methodology included brainstorming, presentations, group and plenary discussions. Gender concepts were articulated and gender barriers identified in the Justice Law and Order Sector. At the conclusion of the workshop, a plan of action was drawn up in which gender issues within the Justice Law and Order sector were clearly identified and spelt out, the actions to be undertaken to address these issues was articulated. The stakeholders involved in implementing the actions were also defined. A follow up action plan was also drawn up which gives the tentative time frame within which to implement the agreed strategy.
