Report of the workshop on handicrafts and small-scale industries development for women in francophone countries
Abstract
In preparation for the meeting the ATRCW collected information pertaining to the fourteen countries which were invited to participate in the seminar. Mr. Amadou Daff was recruited as a consultant to make in-depth studies of Cameroon, Mali and Tunisia. The three countries were selected on the basis of their having different geo-climatic and socio-economic situations; thus the studies highlighted the varying problem and provided case studies for the workshop participants to consider.
