Demand for intercontinental holiday travel in some tourist generating countries (torism newsletter)

Abstract

The recent changes in the world economic situation coupled with the increase of air transportation costs have had disturbing effects on holiday travel. As the statistics of international tourism are processed and published with considerable delay it has been considered that some recent information on a few important travel markets collected from other sources may be useful to the officials responsible for tourism in the ECA member states. The purpose of this newsletter is to provide such information.
