Guidelines for the planning and development of manpower in railways sub-sector

Abstract

This document is basically a guideline for the design and implementation of railway manpower programme if emphasizes the fact that manpower planning is the key element for the development of manpower programme in railway therefore the core of the guideline is mainly on how to prepare a sound manpower plane .the implementation of a manpower plan which is normally carried out at a department level in railway is not the subject of these guideline .it is however emphasized that all the should therefore not be treated in isolation by planners .the main elements if the guidelines cover.
