Abstract
This report aims at briefly providing information on the level of implementation of the decisions of the 1st meeting of the Committee on Natural Resources and, Science and Technology (CNRST-1). The report covers the period from November 1999 to October 2001. It describes the activities carried out by ECA in direct or indirect response to the directives and recommendations of CNRST-1, and provides information on the activities undertaken by other stakeholders.
