AD-HOC Expert group report on : restructuring parastatal organizations and governmental institutions and financing policies and practices in transport and communications sector in Africa

Abstract

The Ad Hoc Experts group meeting on financing policies and practices in transport and communications sectors in Africa; and Restructuring parastatal organizations and governmental institutions in the field of transport and communications. Transport and communications are among the key sectors whose development is a must for overall development of a country or a continent. It also indicated that the participants have been invited on the basis of their personal capacity, and ECA expects them to critically assess the validity of the ideas embodied in the ECA working documents; and formulate additional proposals aimed at furthering the debate on the two themes under discussion.
