This dataset (Series A) presents trade statistics by country for African nations, reported in thousand US dollars, as compiled by the Secretariat of the Commission. The data reflect varying trade systems: special trade system (e.g., Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Senegal, Ivory Coast, and others), general trade system (e.g., Libya, Sudan, Ghana, Zambia, Ethiopia), and general imports/national exports (Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Tanganyika, Uganda). Coverage is limited to countries with available data, highlighting discrepancies in trade reporting methodologies across the continent.
