Present situation of China's education of surveying and mapping

Abstract

On January 1,1986 the academic degree system began to be put into practice in China and Wuhan Technical University of surveying and mapping was authorized in the first group by the degree committee of the state council to confer doctor degree of geodesy photogrammetry and remote sensing the master degree of geodesy photogrammetry and remote sensing engineering survey cartography and optical instrumentation which provided a favorite condition for the postgraduate education in surveying and mapping .after that more schools and research programmes of surveying and mapping.
