Résumé
This report presents the findings from a mission to a stakeholders' analysis workshop on food security and environmental linkages in the Greater Horn of Africa, held in February 1998. The workshop aimed to address the interlinked challenges of food insecurity and environmental degradation in the region, emphasizing the need for effective policies and coordinated actions. Key objectives included clarifying the relationship between food security and the environment, identifying main problem areas, and proposing feasible actions for stakeholders. The report outlines the background of the project, the proceedings of the workshop, and recommendations for addressing critical issues. It highlights the importance of collaboration among various stakeholders, including government institutions, NGOs, and local communities, to achieve sustainable development and improve food security in the region.
