This exhibition introduced the Ethiopian public to part of the great wealth of information on intermediate technologies accumulated in the world. It was organized by John Morgan, a former Peace Corps Volunteer who, for about three years, has devoted his time, efforts and resources to collecting information and building proto-types adapted to the needs of rural Ethiopia. The exhibition was visited by ministers and high-ranking Government officials responsible for education and development planning, by top executives of major development projects in the country, by educators, agricultural and civil engineers, entrepreneurs, educational planners, students, and also. by the ECA Executive Secretary and a team of senior staff members of the ECA secretariat.
