Rural development newsletter

Abstract

As this is the last issue of Volume I of the Newsletter, it offers a good opportunity for us to draw some lessons from our first year of cooperation, and to foresee what should be the main focus of our activities, during the coming year. So far, we have been trying to stress the need for mutual work; we have reviewed some significant undertakings in the field of rural development; and we have emphasized the spirit of self-reliance and togetherness in launching development schemes in our rural areas.
