Résumé
The greater part of this issue of the Statistical Newsletter is devoted to a review of two recent meetings on international trade statistics and national accounts. Both projects proved useful and served as a means of coordinating national efforts to improve and standardize statistics in these fields. African trade statistics are already fairly well developed, but the discussions drew attention to a number of factors which affect the accuracy and usefulness of the data.
