Abstract
The main purpose of these visits was to assist countries with the collection of various statistics in a more systematic manner and the implementation of the UN revised system of nation 1 accounts, In Algeria the Adviser examined the available statistics to find out the weaknesses and gaps, assisted in the development of basic economic statistics with a view to the ultimate application of the revised system of national accounts.
