Abstract
This study was prepared by the government of the Federal Republic of Germany, whose services were provided to the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) secretariat. It will give technical propose Is for the characteristics of the future standardized African Railway network; expect able expenditure is estimated for the alteration of some present technical discrepancies, explained by practical examples. On purpose to collect data for this study, the writer spent 45 days in the headquarters of the ECA in Addis Ababa, also in Kenya and Sudan.
