Abstract

This 51st issue of the newsletter is again devoted to a review of the recommendation by the Kilimanjaro programme of Action (KPA) on population regarding specific actions to be taken to reduce the high fertility levels at the glob regional and national level. The focus is on the preparation of African governments about fertility and family planning polices and programme and the way the latter influenced overall pace of rate population growth in particular and the improvement of health status and well being of the people in general.
