ECA training programme and training information notice = Programme de formation de la CEA et notice sur la formation

Abstract

This biannual publication (issued June and December) by the ECA (Economic Commission for Africa) serves to inform African member states and stakeholders about training programs and opportunities across sectors such as health, education, industry, and natural resource management. Part One, the ECA Training Bulletin, announces upcoming ECA-organized training courses, workshops, and seminars, enabling governments, training institutes, and private entities to plan participation, contingent on funding availability. Part Two, the Training Information Notice, details current external training opportunities for African nationals, aiming to promote utilization of these resources for capacity-building in development programs. Distributed to designated government offices, the publication encourages wide dissemination to ministries, educational institutions, and public enterprises. Additionally, ECA invites member states to submit details of their own specialized training events open to other African countries, shared 4–6 months in advance for publicity. The initiative underscores ECA’s role in fostering collaboration and resource-sharing to advance regional development goals.
