Resolutions adopted at the twelfth session of the commission by the conference of ministers at their third meeting Considering the terms of reference of the Economic Commission for Africa and paragraph 31 of the rules of procedure relating to the working languages of the Economic Commission for Africa, Considering further the recommendation of the twelfth meeting of the Executive Committee that the Arabic language should be made a working language of the Commission, Having considered the financial implications of implementing this recommendations, Requests the Economic and Social Council to recommend to the General Assembly the approval of Arabic as an official and working language of the Economic Commission for Africa, in addition to English and French.
