Abstract
During the year of 1985 a number of important meetings were held both at the Headquarters of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and in capital cities of some of African countries. Our readers may recall that in several issues of this periodical we have published news about some of the meetings. One of such meetings was the Eighth Session of the Conference of African Ministers of Trade held in Brazzaville, Congo, from 28 to 31 October 1985. Highlights of this meeting included in this issue.
