Abstract

The bulletin highlights ECA's efforts to promote gender equity and women's empowerment in Southern Africa. Key recommendations include improving women's access to education, credit, and land, and addressing legal and social barriers. The bulletin also discusses the outcomes of the OAU Labour and Social Affairs Commission and the COMESA Summit, emphasizing regional cooperation and integration.
