Abdalla Hamdok leads ECA delegation to "COP of Action"

Abstract

Preparations are in high gear for the participation of a delegation from the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) at the 22th session of the Conference of Parties (COP22) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Adaptation and resilience to climate change will be at the heart of discussions in the Africa Pavilion where more than 85 meetings are planned on the side-lines of the COP. Located in the blue zone of the COP22 village, the Africa Pavilion is the result of a joint initiative by the African Development Bank, the African Union Commission, ECA and the New Partnership for Africa’s Development.
