dc.description.abstractThis report on follow-up of WSSD outcomes draws from the five thematic reports commissioned by ECA, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Africa Round Table on Sustainable Consumption and Production (ARSCP) on each of the issues outlined above. The report provides a consolidated overview of progress and achievements made in the implementation of commitments related to SCP including the Ten-Year Framework of Programmes on SCP, chemicals, waste management, mining and transport. It outlines implementation challenges and constraints, as well as lessons learnt and highlights the way forward, including policy measures and actions needed to accelerate implementation in each of the thematic issues.en
