The Economic Commission for Africa and its partners, the African Development Bank, African Union Commission and the United Nations Development Program’s Regional Bureau for Africa have launched the Millennium Development Goals to Agenda 2030/Sustainable Development Goals Transition Report 2016. The launch took place during a high level side event at the ongoing United Nations General Assembly. The event was on Implementing Agenda 2063 and Agenda 2030 in an integrated and coherent manner and was organized by the AUC in collaboration with NEPAD’s Planning and Coordinating Agency (NPCA), Regional Economic Communities (RECs), the ECA, AfDB and UNDP.
